I'm enjoying my last Cliff Bar in Georgia (blueberry crunch has to be
their best new flavor). The gnarly looking oak in the background
represents my first state line. So in just under a week, and after
about 80 miles I finally cross into North Carolina. It's a good
feeling.

CONGRATS on crossing the first state line! 80 miles in less than one week is really impressive. Hope you are doing well and your spirits are high. We're thinking of you!
Hope your shin splints are better, because we hear they can really hurt. Have you seen any cool animals? Buffet looked good. Congratulations on finishing your first state! Hoppy Easter.

Yay, Mr. Devoe! Hope your knee feels a little better. How's that blister? Got any more? It was great talking to you over the phone when Mr. Wiech called you. We all wanted to hear from you. Mr. Wiech was really surprised that you answered. Anyway, take care of yourself.
Congratulations Mr. DeVoe!!!!!!! Keep on hiking! We all miss you!
Hey... I bet you'll go crazy...
Haven't you noticed that all the people that hike this trail are either crazy, or going through a mid-life crisis! lol We'll see!
Gen-Z will be missed!
