The wild blueberries are coming ripe here in PA along the trail.
Needless to say I am getting my fix of antioxidants!

Hey Mr.DeVoe . It is tess. We had field days today. It was so hard. I hated the tag-awar. Even though we won it was bad. we got hurt. we kept falling. I got hurt too. The rope scraped agaisnt my arm. But I got back up and started pulling. I was crying but I still pulled. We won the secon time we played. Then we played a weird spoon game. We also won the second time. Miss.Kings class won the first. They did good. We also played this rock game. And we won. We had to get 30 but we got 23 and won. It was a really hard game. I found 2. I think. Well have a good reast of the trip. And I might blog to you at home.
Tess
whats up mr.deVoe
those blueberries sure look yummy to eat I wish we could find some around here.Hope you,Kevin, and Skoob are a great time on the Appalachian Trail.
From,Brenna
I can just hear my mother saying, though, not to eat ANY berries unless an adult tells you they're okay. Now, you would know, but me??!?
Will you be seeing blackberries or blackcaps? Strawberries? Those, I know and so could eat them.
One time, I remember coming back from the woods and showing mom what we had eaten... and across the corn field we went to show Mrs. Dennison, the farmer's wife, the berries to make sure we weren't going to get sick. I've listened to that advice from my mom ever since.
(It's always fun to hear my mom in me....thanks for the memory!)
This is a great time of year when all of the wild berries are coming ripe. mmmmm. Incidently, many of us think that you should try out for a part in a Geico Caveman Commercial when you're done hiking. Enjoy.
I'm glad that you like blueberries. I don't. They just don't taste good to me.Stay healthy land have safe travels.
Dear Mr. Dovoe Did you make a sandwich out of those berries?????????????? From Joel Robinson (J.R.)
