driven under this many times on my way too and from Boston visiting my
friends Brad and Kim. Every time I passed under I always thought
"someday I WILL be walking over this road" and here I am.

Daddy,
It was great hiking with you again! Thanks for carrying my pack when it was rubbing against my sore legs. You really are a great hiker! See you again soon I hope!
Glad to read that today is going better than yesterday. No matter what you chose to do, you are truly an inspiration to so many people!
And from now on when you drive under it? "I walked that!" What a feeling you'll have, forever. Glad to hear you're faring a better. Just remember to enjoy. Life is for enjoying, and sometimes we do that by working hard only to realize as soon as the work is complete, how wonderful the work was.
Glad to hear it's going better today. Like we said yesterday, IF you had to stop the trail for whatever reason, you would not be "quitting", but postponing completion to a later date. Keep plugging along steadily, but don't push too hard and fast or you may start spinning your wheels. Focus on what you've done so far and not what you still have to do.
So glad things are better for you... hope you have a good day! : )
A little late, but YAY FOR BECKET! I've driven under this countless times, but have yet to even walk this portion of the trail...pretty sad since I've consistently been in Becket for 29 years. I hope this part of the trail was especially beautiful for you. Sorry I wasn't around to offer you a flushing toilet or clean sheets!! Maybe next time....
