I usually opt out of sunset photos because a camera can never truly
capture it but I couldn't resist this one from Mt Bigelow. This is
from the last 4000 ft mtn before Katadin. Maine is so amazing. I
realized I have about 50 waypoints of places along the AT that I want
to revisit and explore beyond. There's just not enough time - or is
life just too crudded up with other stuff?

...waxing poetic as the end of the trail looms... SPECTACULAR!!!!
John Lennon sung- "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"...
I hope you get some time to be alone in your thoughts when you finish your journey. ...write some of them down too.
Your friend,
John
Life IS too crudded up with other stuff. Make sure you go back.
Let me know when you make some return visits - I missed out on the Maine experience all together! Glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel - let me know if you need some vegan jerky to boost your spirits.. hahah

I've loved all of your photos, and you're going to make it. You can do anything now, including making it back anywhere. Enjoy whatever you want to do because you know you can do it!
You will get back to some of your favorite places on the AT as long as you have family and friends for support as has been the case with this trip.
Of greatest importance in the trail of life, is having a family and partner who love you, and caring friends that stand by you when needed. We congratulate you, Kevin and Lucy on a successful test of perseverance! We have really enjoyed following the blog, but we are glad it is almost over. Parents never stop worrying about their children!

That is so beautiful. My family and I just got back from vacation 2 days ago and my friend who came with us took a great picture of the sunset on the lake, it didn't do it justice, but it was still beautiful all the same. Good luck and Congrats for making it this far! Keep it up.
